A Casabella Tradition: Four Alumni, One Family

The Casabella Family

The Casabella Family

Milena Casabella is the third and most recent member of the Casabella family to graduate from John Cabot University. When asked “Why JCU?” Milena responded, “I chose John Cabot because both my brothers went to JCU and loved the experience.” Her two older brothers, Luca (featured second left) and Marco (featured far right) graduated in 2007 and 2010 respectively.

Marco currently works for Giesecke & Devrient as an Area Sales Manager for the Middle East and Africa. After receiving his B.A. in Business Administration from JCU, Marco earned an MBA in 2012 from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California. Luca, who also received his B.A. in Business Administration from JCU, is Regional Manager at Telenor Global Wholesale. Kristin McDonald (featured far left) met Luca at John Cabot University, where she was studying abroad. The couple married last summer in New Jersey and Taormina, Sicily. Kristin, Luca, and Marco all currently live in Dubai.

At the Commencement ceremony on May 16th, 2016, Milena received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Affairs with a minor in Business Administration. She will soon be starting a six-month internship in Rome at WFP (World Food Programme) in the governmental sector.

Throughout their journey, the former students had the loving support of both Mr. and Mrs. Casabella (featured above). It was the end of an era for the family. “We have been with John Cabot University since 2004”, said Mrs. Casabella. The entire family celebrated together at the Villa Aurelia. Marco says, “I look forward to continuing the Casabella legacy by sending my children to JCU, the best American university in the world!”
