John Cabot University’s Italy Reads Program, in collaboration with The English Theatre of Rome, presents:

The Glass Menagerie

When this four-character memory play premiered in 1944 it catapulted Williams from obscurity to international fame. The play’s action centers around the memories of the narrator, Tom Wingfield, who supports his mother Amanda and sister Laura. Things take a dramatic turn with the arrival of Laura’s suitor Jim.
