JCU Welcomes President Lori Varlotta of Hiram College

Dr. Lori Varlotta, president of Hiram, a liberal arts college in Western Ohio, visited John Cabot University on Tuesday, October 9.  John Cabot was founded in 1972 and soon established an affiliation with Hiram College that lasted until 1996 when JCU became an independent university.

JCU President Franco Pavoncello said, “It was a great honor and pleasure to welcome President Varlotta to JCU. For over two decades John Cabot was affiliated with Hiram and the College’s constant support was vital for our growth and success in our first years. We look forward to our future collaboration for the benefit of our two communities.”
