JCU Gears up for Spring 2019 Career Fair
The Center for Career Services will host the Spring 2019 Career Fair on Friday, April 12. The event represents a valuable opportunity for students and graduates of John Cabot University to begin exploring their future career and develop their professional path.
The event will take place on the second floor from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and will feature over 70 business representatives from 34 partner companies and organizations, including Accenture, Caffeina, Civico Zero, Dorchester Collection, Eataly, Engel-Volkers, Florence University of the Arts, Gi Group, Mercer, Randstad, Re/Max Prodigy and Rocco Forte Hotels and more.
During the event, students and alumni will have the chance to practice their interviewing skills with managers and professionals and take advantage of the opportunity to gain valuable work experience. The Career Services Team encourages all students and graduates to prepare for the Career Fair by visiting the participating companies’ websites and attending the various career sessions scheduled during the week leading up to the Career Fair. The Career Services team will help participants improve their CVs/resumes and cover letters, interviewing and presentation skills, personal branding, etc.
In view of the Spring 2019 Career Fair, Prof. Antonella Salvatore, Career Services Director, noted: “These seniors and recent graduates don’t just take part in this event in the hopes of finding a specific job. It is also an opportunity to be mentored by company representatives and professionals who provide participants with excellent advice. In this sense, every Career Fair is an extremely formative experience.”
