Frohring Foundation Makes Generous Donation to John Cabot University
President Franco Pavoncello is pleased to announce that the Paul and Maxine Frohring Foundation has donated $700,000 to John Cabot University.
Established in 1958, the Frohring Foundation, which has long been a generous benefactor of John Cabot University, is an independent foundation whose focus is on higher education, conservation, and social outreach. Paula Frohring, daughter of the Foundation’s founders, is a beloved JCU Trustee.
In 2015, the Frohring Foundation donated $1 million to the University to provide scholarships to meritorious students from developing, non-US and non-EU, countries. Other gifts from the Frohring Foundation have made possible the construction of the Aurelian Wing of the Frohring Library and provided funds for faculty development grants in order to support professors in their research and professional development.
“The continued support of the Frohring Foundation is a wonderful inspiration for us all in reaffirming our lasting commitment to educating brilliant young leaders from all over the world; to dialogue, friendship, and compassion, key ingredients for a peaceful and prosperous future for humanity,” says President Pavoncello.
The entire John Cabot University community joins President Pavoncello in thanking Paula Frohring, her family and the Frohring Foundation for their latest demonstration of generosity.”
