The exhibit is part of  Rigenera Roma–Marco Asilo, Home Projections (for the quarantined hearts).  With the support of CSOA Ex-Snia & Comitato di Quartiere Pigneto-Prenestino.

Says Professor Ferrari, “The students of Expanded Cinema have explored approaches to listening, observing and recording through audiovisual projects that intermix documentary, fiction and abstract modes of filmmaking. In response to the current pandemic, these final student videos investigate the idea of Regeneration during a time of quarantine through their understanding of expanded cinema—a form of cinema that questions itself through the interaction between maker and viewer, image, and environment, self and otherness. Each student has created a site-specific work considering the scale, material, and place of the projected image. These 3-minute silent videos will be screened one after another and the entire sequence will loop for the duration of the event, forming a unique expression that seeks to add insight during these uncertain times.”
