On October 26, 2020 at 6 PM, John Cabot University will hold a virtual open day in Italian to present Bachelor’s degrees (B.A.) and Continuing Education programs (Master Post Laurea). The open day is aimed at high school students and university graduates.
B.A. Programs Open Day
During the event dedicated to JCU B.A. programs, Italian high school students will have the chance to talk with the Italian Admissions staff, who will present the University and explain the advantages of studying in an international environment.
Michèle Favorite, Director of Italian Admissions and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Business and Communication, will discuss academics, financial aid opportunities, and the admissions process. Then, a current JCU student will describe life on campus and the services offered to students in order to provide an insider’s perspective on the JCU community experience. Participants will also have the chance to listen to three JCU alumni, currently located in Copenhagen, Berlin, and Rome, who will speak about their careers and how JCU helped them get where they are.
Continuing Education Open Day
This virtual event will help Italian university graduates to learn about the four Continuing Education programs that will be offered in 2021. Some of the new courses that students will have the opportunity to take include marketing, neuroscience, digitalization, and new technologies, which will allow them to develop their soft skills and their capacity to implement changes and cope with new challenges.
Antonella Salvatore, Director of the Center for Professional and Continuing Education and Career Services and Marketing professor, will present the University and the programs, as well as the opportunities offered by the Center for Career Services. JCU partners with more than 670 organizations and several company representatives will join the event to share their experiences with prospective students. Finally, Alessia Margozzi, Continuing Education Coordinator, will explain how to apply and present costs and financial aid options.
