Congratulations to Alumnus Stanislav Rudoi for Obtaining CFA Charter

In 2015, alumnus Stanislav Rudoi received a B.A. degree from John Cabot University with a double major in Economics and Finance and Business Administration. Stanislav was also JCU’s Valedictorian, the student with the highest grade point average (GPA).

After graduation, he did not follow a traditional finance route. First, he had a four-year run at redBit games, an Italian mobile games developer and publisher. Stanislav ran several publishing projects for redBit, while working on internal budgeting and mobile user acquisition. During his time at redBit, Stanislav earned his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charter from the CFA Institute. The CFA Institute is a global association of investment professionals that offers educational programs to those interested in the financial sector. The CFA Program is designed to provide the knowledge and the skills to thrive in the competitive investing industry.

Leaving Rome for the United States, Stanislav obtained a Master of Science in Finance from Brandeis University in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2019, he moved to California to work at Pollen VC, a company positioned at the intersection of the mobile app & game economy and traditional finance. Pollen VC provides flexible credit facilities to mobile app and game developers all over the world. Stanislav is currently VP of Growth & Analytics, working on initiatives that include innovative debt products in traditionally underserved capital markets. In January 2021, Stanislav finally obtained the necessary work experience to receive his CFA Charter.

As Stanislav says, “The CFA charter is a result of a multi-year effort, and when I look back it’s amazing to think that I persevered in studying for all the CFA levels one year after another – all combined with a full-time job. The knowledge I obtained while studying for CFA definitely helped me in getting my Master’s in Finance, and I still tap into it almost daily in my current job. I am proud to be one of the seven JCU alumni who are CFA Charter holders and I wish good luck to all the CFA candidates at JCU!”
