Designed for students who need to bring their English language proficiency to university level, the program is aimed at bringing students’ English proficiency to university level while preparing them for the intellectual demands of university study.
There were 30 students who graduated from ENLUS2 and 6 students who graduated from ENLUS 1. Students come from Latin American, Africa, and Asia, as well as various cities in Italy.
On behalf of John Cabot University President Franco Pavoncello, ENLUS Director Silvia Ammary conferred diplomas to those students who successfully completed their studies.
This semester ENLUS introduced “The Language Doctor,” a free walk-in service every Friday that provides assistance to students who need more help to improve their language skills.
Paul Whitehead, an instructor in ENLUS said, “The students who took advantage of the sessions on Fridays all passed their exams and will go on to start their undergraduate studies at JCU.”
