John Cabot University Welcomes Summer Session II Students!
The John Cabot University community is pleased to welcome incoming visiting students for Summer Session II.
Students, who hail from all across the USA and from various countries around the world, are being welcomed at Fiumicino Airport by JCU staff and Student Ambassadors. After receiving their housing assignments, students will be accompanied directly to their accommodations.
During the two-day Orientation period, students will participate in sessions designed to acquaint them with the University and the Eternal City, as well as provide an introduction to Italian culture. In addition to a tour of campus and JCU’s Trastevere neighborhood, students have the opportunity to take walking tours of ancient Rome and get tips on enjoying the city while staying safe.
In the evenings, students have a chance to meet new and returning JCU students at several “Meet and Greet” events.
In order to enhance students’ summer session experience, the Office of Student Services has prepared a wide variety of activities including Italian cooking classes, discounted tickets to the opera and other performances in Rome, and guided excursions to points of interest outside of the city such as the Campania region and the city of Florence. Students will also be able to enjoy a variety of exercise classes at the Fitness Center located in the Gianicolo Residence.
JCU staff and Student Ambassadors are happy to answer students’ questions and provide information about the University and the city of Rome.
