The Writing Center is John Cabot University’s resource for writers. Intended '"for all writers, of all levels," the Center offers one-hour sessions for students who are interested in improving their written work. Thanks to a collaboration with Professor Sabrina Schmidt’s Graphic Design and Advanced Graphic Design classes, the Writing Center is receiving a graphic makeover.

JCU student and rapper Anna Maria Gehnyei, aka Karima 2G, recently wrote and performed lead vocals on “Roots,” a song recorded in collaboration with History and Amnesty International Italia, that aims to shed light on contemporary slavery.

A former British diplomat, Professor Connelly has been an academic since 1999. He has directed theater on three continents and was until 2010 the Artistic Director of Zuloo Theatre in Shanghai, where his production of David Henry Hwang's M Butterfly was forced to close down by the Chinese secret police. He is also a published poet and playwright.
