JCU Center for Continuing Education Announces New Partnerships
John Cabot University is proud to announce new partnerships for the 2020 Continuing Education courses in ‘Export and Made in Italy,’ ‘Culture, Tourism and Events’ and ‘Management and Innovation.’ JCU’s Continuing Education programs aim at preparing students to become well-rounded professionals through part-time work with one of the University’s over 640 partner companies.
For the course in ‘Export and Made in Italy,’ JCU signed a partnership agreement with “Italian Export Forum,” the first Italian forum aimed at connecting companies operating in the export field. The “Italy-United Arab Emirates Association,” which promotes commercial and cultural relations between the two countries, offered its patronage to the course in view of Expo 2020 Dubai.
Zetema Progetto Cultura, a company owned by the municipality of Rome that manages cultural and touristic events and services, gave its support to the course in ‘Culture, Tourism, and Events.’ Teatro dell’Opera di Roma (Rome Opera House) also provided its patronage.
Finally, OSC Innovation and QOOWEAR, two key innovation companies, gave their support to the course in ‘Management and Innovation.’ OSC Innovation is a leader in augmented and immersive reality for interactive systems, and QOOWEAR is the world’s first heating garment that can automatically adjust its temperature. These partnerships will show the importance of new technologies in today’s business world.
“The greatest value these courses offer is that they provide students with a daily, direct exchange with experts operating in different fields. Practice-based classes and case studies allow students to apply what they learned in class,” said Professor Antonella Salvatore, Director of the Center for Career Services and Continuing Education.
