She went on to earn an M.A. in Italian Studies at New York University and a Ph.D. in the same field at the University of Texas at Austin, where she is currently Coordinator of Lower Division Italian.

EasyDesk, an app created by John Cabot University alumnus Enrico Barchiesi, was selected for a 9-month acceleration program with CesenaLab. EasyDesk is an app that allows students to book spaces on campus in order to maintain social distance.

In September 2021 Jay will start a part-time Ph.D. program on the “Anatomy of a Politically Incorrect Directing Method: Feminism, Transfeminism and Beyond” at the University of Birmingham.

Born and raised in Rome, alumnus Dario Diofebi graduated from La Sapienza University with a triennale and a specialistica degree in Comparative Literature. In the summer of 2015, Dario did a graduate creative writing workshop at JCU. He then went on to earn an MFA in Creative Writing at New York University. Dario recently published his novel Paradise, Nevada (Bloomsbury, 2021).
