Tommaso Trillò, who graduated from JCU in December 2013 with a major in Political Science, is currently working as a Research Assistant at the Budapest Centre for International Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities. Tommaso, who is from Rome, will begin working on a Master’s degree in Migration Studies at Oxford University next fall.

On the 7th of April, 2014, Bene Rwanda Onlus, in collaboration with the Guarini Institute for Public Affairs and the Budapest Centre for the International Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities organized and hosted a conference on the anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, in order to keep the memory of the tragedy alive and educate new generations on its outcomes.

On March 6th, 2014, the Biblioteca di Storia Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome hosted a presentation of the book Il Patto Ribbentrop-Molotov: L'Italia e l'Europa (1939-1940). The book originated from the contributions to the May-June 2012 conference hosted by the Guarini Institute for Public Affairs. The volume was co-edited by Alberto Basciani, Antonio Macchia and Valentina Sommella.
