The “Digital Italy” summit was launched in 2016 by “The Innovation Group,” an Italian management consulting company, in order to develop national strategies for digital innovation in the economy, society and public administration. Every year, analysts from “The Innovation Group” gather the summit presentations by economists, business leaders, politicians, public administration representatives, scholars and international experts in an annual report.

Students from Prof. Fabrizio Conti's course HS 235 The Birth of Medieval Europe and from Prof. Matthew Schoene’s course SOC 340 European Integration taught at Albion College, Michigan, met at John Cabot University for a Global Course Connection student conference on November 20, 2018. Students presented and discussed the topics they had been working on remotely in pairs throughout Fall 2018. The conference was sponsored by the Department of History and Humanities.

Professor Vanda Wilcox's research interests focus on the military, cultural and social history of the First World War in Italy, as well as the memory and commemoration of the two World Wars. She teaches courses in European and Italian history in the nineteenth and twentieth century as well as on the World Wars, the history of imperialism, memory and popular culture, and modern sports history.
