The lecture, entitled “Clothing and Social Meaning: the Monk, the Knight, and the Witch,” was organized by the Department of History, Cultures and Religions.

Professor Vanda Wilcox's research interests focus on the military, cultural and social history of the First World War in Italy, as well as the memory and commemoration of the two World Wars.
